When I started this blog a few years back I had a vision of myself; one that was relatively normal I must say, (although what is normal anyway)?
I wanted so badly to 'fit' in with mainstream society and my desire was to put myself out there as a model citizen doing my best to get by while living my creative dream.
Yet, after all was said and done, my blog remained idle and my thoughts of inspiring posts gathered dust in my mind as I found myself doing better things with my time.
See, it occurred to me only recently that I have never been fond of speaking about myself or making myself the centerpiece of anything, so writing about my viewpoints or what I ate for breakfast that morning etc seemed like a fruitless and empty pursuit.

However... I reached a turning point in my life...

I no longer have a desire to 'fit' in, in fact I realize now WHY I never fitted in the first place and I am damn grateful I didn't!!
I no longer see myself as normal nor do I want to be.
I wear my individual-ism with pride and I am using this blog now to express just that! I feel like I have just woken from a long long sleep and what I see around me is a only a mere reflection of how much we all need to change collectively if we are to progress and evolve into more conscious beings.
I believe we are destroying the very biosphere/planet that supports our life and we are allowing dictators and fascist leaders parading under the guise of a false 'democratic freedom' to lead us into certain death; death of mind, death of spirit and most definitely death of the physical body.
The ideas behind my blog have evolved into something so much greater than what I ever could have conceived, it seems like such an uncanny coincidence that even from it's humble beginning I chose the name Black Andara; it's meaning relates to one of my favourite Andara crystals (Black Iridium) discovered at the base of Mt Shasta, The colour black has throughout antiquity represented 'Mastery of the Mysteries', the pinnacle of spiritual ascendance.
Iridium is known as the philosophers stone, the ultimate achievement in alchemy.

I am no longer afraid to speak my truth or use my voice!! If people are uncomfortable with what I have to say that is their problem and it is generated by a false sense of security in the very things in this world that don't even exist.
Many things I post will challenge people to their core but I encourage you, don't take my word for it.. do your own research.
