Today: Adrian (my hubby) drank a bit too much last night and has been throwing up since 2 am this morning (twice on my hand while I was trying to help him to the toilet urrgh)!, just another gentle reminder of why I'm so glad I don't drink. lol (I do feel sorry for him though all curled up in a ball on the couch).
Dec-Jan: We took a little trip to Qld in the xmas holidays and I thought to add some of the photos from our adventures; Here they are, hope you enjoy!
The Batwing Spaceshot ~ Ground to 61 m high in just 2 seconds!
...yes ladies and gents that is genuine fear on my sons face.. lol. I had to carefully select my shutter speed to get this shot and I'm so happy it worked out. Captured a goodin'.
Broden and Adrian on the Tweety cages at Movie World...
Lily had so much fun. Unfortunately they were long and exhausting days spent walking around the theme parks and my only advice to anyone considering doing the theme parks with young children is make sure you take plenty of water, snacks/food (food is expensive if you buy it there), take a backpack and definitely invest in a storage locker from the get-go, the $10 will be well spent when you've saved yourself the hassle of carrying heavy bags everywhere. Also buy a VIP pass and do each park twice; you will be able to see more and it will be less stressful especially since second time you'll know your way around.
Upside, Lily macked out almost every afternoon we were in Qld... she must have had a ball!
The boys at Wet'n'Wild on the Constrictor...
Adrian really hates cold water and I mean really hates cold water, so much so that he wears a wet suit in the pool on a hot day?! This photo was taken at 6:pm and at this stage it was starting to get darn cold, surprisingly for sunny summer Qld. I haggled Adrian the whole time he was in the line, hehe ...and I could see he was not looking forward to going on this ride. Unfortunately though, the water was really warm so I was bitterly disappointed that I didn't get to see Adrian squirm. lol
Arkham Asylum is by far the best place for adults to visit at Movie World.

Broden looking handsome as always...
Byron Bay at 5:am
On the drive home we decided to stop in at Byron for breakfast. I think Byron is the only place this side of Australia which has a bakery open to the public at an ungodly hour in the morning, lucky for us coz we were starving! ...and we were able to enjoy bacon and egg rolls by the beach with tea and coffee. ahhhh!
